Well, I think that's just like us watching like a UFL game, right? You're like, yeah, I I just love it. I don't even know who's playing. I don't even have I don't even I don't even care who wins You I saw out there at the schedule and The first week of the season we have a Friday game the one in Brazil with the Eagles. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah Yeah, you know, they always play a Thursday game to start the season off, but normally goes to Sunday the next game But this this year we have a Thursday and a Friday game and then the normal Sunday game So y'all y'all remember that I mean sometimes we even have like two games on like a Saturday or two games on Thursday Sometimes they have those two games on the Monday on Monday. Yeah weird when the game like for a little day I remember when COVID happened and we had a game on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I'll never forget that. I'm like, man, this is That reminds me back in the day when there was no sports and we were betting on fucking like I was like, I don't even know who this is, but some guy on Twitter said they're going to win some works on with the fucking ball. You haven't been a lot of news. I mean, we keep hearing, uh, you know, at least we know that, uh, you know, they're in negotiations talking and it's not just CD. They're talking to Dak and Dak. He's, he's as cool as fuck right now. Dak is man. cool as the other side of the pillow. And he's like, ah, it's going to get done. I'm not worried about it. Let me just worry about Either way, whether he gets paid by us or he gets paid by He's got his little baby girl out on the field. Like, Hey, look at So he lived in life with his, with his best friend, Zeke. He's got a Tell me, tell me you haven't seen those, uh, those, Highlights of Zeke where he looks like he may be he went from like 30 to like 64 years old. I mean, he's really feels like he's old The the dying corpse of Zeke is out there running. I'm like, man I could get out there and do better than Zeke right now like they just need I Saw somebody tweet said they can already see it first play the game give the Zeke Rush sub He's going to get blown up. You know, I don't know. We might, I mean, Zeke might give us the, you know, just that little, that little oomph in the middle, you know, when we do need to pick up I think in, I think within the five yard line, he's going to do good whenever we need touchdown. He has a nose for the end zone. He might not can get the 20 yard I guarantee you, we're going to have another running back on this team before we start the season. Got to, we have to, like we can't go, but we have, but then again, McCarthy used to do that in Green Bay. He never invested a lot in They looked up. They always had a running back. And they looked up into him. Even in that year when they had that receiver from Stanford as their running back. Who was that? Tyrone Montgomery, yeah. Montgomery. He was an athlete. He wasn't a receiver. He was thick But yeah, that's just like Atlanta having what's the name of the other receiver playing or anybody Darryl Patterson? Yeah, we got athletes playing backs and I just I just we don't even have the athletes to put back there Yeah, cuz San Francisco does it too with uh with a Debo. Yeah. Well Debo's different Debo's like you better give me the fucking ball. I Think they're scared in the huddle. They're like, whatever give people the ball like Debo's coming The boat got him. Oh, which I mean as, as a vet, It might be, I mean, when you're in that position where you're getting beat up a lot, it might be, it might be pretty good to be able to, to kind of rest and relax and not, you know, get those. But you, as a running back, you, you need to feel that hit. You need to get ready to hit in the season. You just can't go into game one Emmitt Smith never did preseason. He's like, nah, I'm good, man. And no, in the beginning of his career, he did after like year four or five, he stopped doing preseason. I remember that was a Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He'd be practicing. And so, I mean, uh, McCaffrey was practicing and if I'm a, if I'm a running back and I'm like top five in the league and I'm past year five, I'm not doing preseason. Forget that. I practiced, but I will. Challenge you to find me one year that Emmett didn't have one carry in this in the preseason I'm gonna look it up and I know I mean do it cuz I can't remember I mean, I know that I know we got away from because the league used to be rookies rookies first two games Since there was four games. It was rookies rookies. The third game was Put a lot of starters in for for almost three quarters of the game and then they took him out and then the last game was dress rehearsal it was like one or two series in there and you're out. And we got away from that. And, and we kind of went to the, like the NBA, uh, method where the, you know, vets don't play any if they're, but I think when they saw it, when they started doing that, they started seeing a lot more injuries because investors weren't ready to hit. Football's a physical you don't yeah. Yeah me while you're looking up the Emmett thing. I got it I'm listening. It's a physical sport. I already found what I need to find. Did he say you do it? Yeah, but not in the way I thought his his first season his his rookie season. He sat out really I wonder what, yeah, his rookie season. It was a holdout. Yeah, it was a holdout after a holdout doing all the training camp and preseason of his rookie season. He also had that one year reported in He didn't even get signed until like the second game two after they lost, like they won one and no, no, they started open to, that was the, was that 92 or 94. He can't snap. He has wild snaps. Ever since then, he's calmed down. He's been doing perfect snaps on a consistent basis. Hoffman's just been killing it. Like the offensive line coach has been saying it, the head coach has been saying it. They're like, I mean, people just penciled BBN to be the center like it's a foregone conclusion. Hoffman said, People need to understand that before anything happened, before the draft happened and everything, before the rookies were working with No, before, right after the season ended, Brock Yeah, see so him and steel where yep steel was there is him and steel Yeah, and still has been doing very well man. I'm telling you man. Many weather is the old line whisperer like he I think it was great next year. I Really should be but I'm telling you like I've been saying that Hoffman is a fucking monster and he's gonna be our center. I love BB and I'm telling that BB was my favorite pick but I've been thinking that ever since I saw Hoffman with his full face paint on his face black. I remember I said this right here is a fucking gonna kill somebody today and before people go crazy and Say man a wasted pick BB's not doing bad at all Like if we didn't have Hoffman BB could play and do a good job. Just I've been doing real if you listen to what the coaches and BB's the Yeah, and and he can play guard So he I mean, he's definitely making the team all of that. It's not he's playing bad Hoffman is just being a very very very good surprise. It's kind of like oh, yeah, yeah kind of like a Clark was Like last year everybody's like man Over Sean's coming back. They drafted Maris Then they got Kendrick's they're like man Clark gonna get cut and Clark has probably been one of the best linebackers we've had in camp this season So it's like these players, you know, a lot of pride goes into it. I play sports I play basketball and you just don't want to be labeled as oh you're getting cut or Somebody's coming to take your job man. They worked hard to get here you You see those articles about you know, what Clark's actually doing right now is he's sending all his practice tape to Van Der Esch and to Chun-Li. But I mean, he's working a lot. I don't know if he's working so much with Chun-Li a lot, but Van Der Esch, he said that Van Der Esch is actually coming to the practices and staying with him and watching a video with him. So Van Bring him in as you know, like a player coach Yeah, man, he wants to play so bad He just can't like it's because from everything I've read he can play right now like he can play But he is one hit away from being paralyzed for life So it's like that's too big of a risk to ask somebody like today's because they said it's completely up to him if you want To play he could play but just know that you have a higher risk than you know normal I mean everybody has a risk to get paralyzed, but he has a higher risk than normal Take that one hit and boom, that's So another thing that he did the right thing. But a scene Richards was the guy that we drafted last year, the year before that. He can play both, both tackles. He can even play both guards. They said that he's been holding That means that, you know, we don't have to keep, we'll let go. We don't have to keep ball, you know, fucking get rid of Josh ball already. Like as a person, as a human being, I'm pretty sure he's a good guy. He, you know, donates to charities and talking about ball, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He's probably, I mean, he's probably done stuff in his life, but I, I'll be okay if I never see him play another down for the Cowboys. Like I will be just fine. I just hope he does. Goes and becomes a successful stockbroker or whatever it is. Be a millionaire doing something else, but... Go sell your insurance. We also know that rush is gonna get there and not because Anything other than Lance just has not overtaken rush rush is just steady. He's one of those people that I You know what you're gonna get he's not gonna go out there and throw for 400 yards and four touchdowns But he's not gonna throw for 150 yards and no touchdown. He's gonna be 200 to 250 yards one to two touchdowns Maybe one turnover maybe not and then he's gonna take care of the ball move you down the field So, you know, you're gonna get Lance has the upside, but he also has the lower Lance floor I mean he has a ceiling but But I think if he if they tailor the offense like they do for like a Lamar Jackson or like how they did Kaepernick I think he would be a lot more effective. But as a pure drop back passer, I think he's being done at this service, but Maybe you can learn who knows we'll see maybe he's a gamer like that Like maybe you know, like when Dak first got in the league, they said he practiced so bad. But I mean, they have them all listed under running back, so that's probably Lipkin's not really a running back. Snoop's not gonna make the team. He's signed at the end of the year. Pete was an undrafted. No, he might, he might as a practice squad because he's a rookie. A lot of these guys, like you got to think of it like if you have Malik Davis and Pete in the same room sitting next to each other, they run about the same speed. They're about the same size. One guy is, has never played a snap. I may, it may be a third year. And I mean, I mean, what are you going to do? gonna keep this guy that has three two or three more years on a rookie contract with the ceiling just like Malik but all these guys can't make it that's one two three four or five that's six but they're gonna keep four at the most we'll see what happens so let's two people two people gotta Well, let's go to to to wide receiver and once we get to the point where we have too many we can start taking away Right away, I'm gonna take away Davis because he's not gonna be real.
