Intro 00:00:06 Here we go. Here I come. Here we go. Here I come. Here we go. Yeah. Yeah. When I fall through a lot. Do not lie. Cause how you walkin with a lion. Everybody like there ain't no brakes, no rest stop. We tryna get your head chopped. The whole club yellin everybody.
Prescott 00:00:37 Here we go, here we go. Victory Formation podcast. This is Prescott. That is your boy Eddie. Eddie, say what's up to the person.
Eddie 00:00:45 Welcome. Welcome everybody. Welcome. Another another week.
Prescott 00:00:51 Man. How you got a golden mic, man. Like did you win an award? Yeah. Like a podcast. An award. It's three mics. Do you remember that the, the, the the magazine back in the day? Yeah.
Prescott 00:01:04 Five. yeah.
Eddie 00:01:06 Was a slam.
Prescott 00:01:07 No, no, not slam. It wasn't slam.
Eddie 00:01:08 It was. It was a hip hop.
Prescott 00:01:10 Yeah yeah yeah yeah.
Eddie 00:01:12 Yeah, I remember it, but yeah. Five, four and a half MCs. Yep. Oh yo what's up man?
Prescott 00:01:18 Man.
Eddie 00:01:19 How about a week? We're better. We're about a week away from this draft getting. It's getting tight. People are trying to find stories to write about again. So tired and no, no news, no nothing man a few A few things happened this week since we thought.
Prescott 00:01:36 Oh man, what's the big what's what's the big one? We had to, say, say goodbye to the gentle giant.
Eddie 00:01:43 I don't know, I, I know the announcement came up, but I don't think they had that, press conference today. It was. It was. I don't know if I would say it was sad. It was good to see him again. I'm glad that he's retiring as a cowboy.
Prescott 00:01:57 Obviously, we.
Eddie 00:01:57 Me too. We knew that was going to happen, but I still I he's still so huge and still like.
Prescott 00:02:04 Oh my.
Eddie 00:02:05 God. He still looks like a football player. Like, why don't we just sign him? He's signed. Let's just let him play a little bit.
Prescott 00:02:10 He's better than steel right now. He can put in the right tackle. Put him in right. Oh, we can put him in fullback. Yeah, put him at fullback. But the only thing I heard in that, the only thing I heard in that was that, he hates Tony Romo, and he loves that. That's what I.
Eddie 00:02:25 Heard.
Prescott 00:02:26 That tweet and that.
Eddie 00:02:27 Prescott.
Prescott 00:02:27 Tweet.
Eddie 00:02:28 I saw that tweet from that guy that was like, he didn't mention Tony Romo. That's ridiculous. What am I like, Why?
Prescott 00:02:37 I don't know. You need to ask him. God is I want you to go up to Tyron Smith and poke him in his chest and aggressively say, why do you hate Romo?
Eddie 00:02:46 No, you do that because you you probably posted that tweet.
Eddie 00:02:49 I go up to that guy that posted that tweet like he knows something and took him in his chest and be like, you. What are you saying, man?
Prescott 00:02:56 And so I got one. I got one, Tyron Smith story. So I've only seen him in person one time like up close, you know not not at a game when you see him from afar.
Eddie 00:03:07 But so this is your.
Prescott 00:03:08 I went to the Pro Bowl. Yeah I went to the Pro Bowl and he was there. This is the year we suck. And it was him and Jaylon Smith the the the linebacker. That was the one good year he had with us when he went to the Pro Bowl. And matter of fact, that was the same year, the exact same year Kobe Bryant died because we were walking into the stadium and my phone was blowing up.
Eddie 00:03:31 Everybody, hey.
Prescott 00:03:33 TMZ is saying Kobe Bryant died. I'm like, I, I didn't watch the first half of the whole Pro Bowl because it was like fresh news.
Prescott 00:03:39 Nobody had it except TMZ. So some people were thinking, it's fake, it's not real. It's a fake story.
Eddie 00:03:44 Where was the pro? Was the Pro Bowl in Hawaii or was it a.
Prescott 00:03:47 No no it was it was in Orlando okay. It was in and and so we we were there the whole first half. I'm just glued to my phone trying to find another source besides TMZ. The saying Kobe Bryant died. Anyway, that's the Pro Bowl I went to, and on the flight back home, him and Jalen were in first class. Jalen was in the first row in first class, but he had his his his hood over his head. But I mean I'm a Cowboys fan so I, I know him. Anybody else is just going to think he's a regular black dude with dreads. And then Tyron Smith was on the last row of first class. He had his headphones on and he was leaning back, his eyes closed. Like he was like I don't even know I sleep Tyron Smith wake up.
Prescott 00:04:24 So I took a picture of him just so I could say, hey, I saw Tyron Smith. But his album closed so he didn't see me. Yeah, he was sleeping well. I don't know if he was sleeping. I don't think he was sleeping but his eyes are closed. So he didn't see me. And then once we got back to the airport he was waiting. He was with his like his family wasn't in first class with him, I guess because the league bought the ticket since he was in the Pro Bowl. But his family was there at the airport like he had. I'm guessing it was a son. It was a little mixed boy. And then he has a a wife, I mean a wife. and she was white. And then the son looked like he was mixed. So I assume that was his son. But I knew that was his wife and they were just standing there. And I'm like, man, I want to go up to him so bad. But me personally, this is my thing about famous people.
Prescott 00:05:09 If you're in your element where you're working, I have zero problem going up to you. Like if you're at a football game or you play football, that's your job. I can bother you. But if you're in a restaurant or the movies on the mall, that's not you like you having your time. So I'm not going to bother you unless it's like a sponsored event where you're there signing autographs. So I when I held off, one dude did did go up to him and shake his hand and all that, but I just did it from afar and made googly eyes at that gentleman, that gentleman. I was like, man. And he is so huge. Like he didn't even look like a human. He looked like he was made in a lab somewhere. It was crazy. But that's my story.
Eddie 00:05:47 That's awesome. It's it's awesome when you get to see your not your heroes, but like people that that up front like he he must have been.
Prescott 00:05:57 You like I'm like.
Eddie 00:05:58 You can't even fathom how big, how big the human is and how agile it is.
Prescott 00:06:05 And he looks big on the screen, even against other football players. So against regular people in the airport, he just looked like a a mammoth human being, like, man.
Eddie 00:06:16 Well, you know, the whole, the whole he was wearing a knee brace on his elbow thing just gives us, you know, it couldn't even make fucking prosthetics for his fucking body. So yeah.
Prescott 00:06:27 The most frustrating thing about him was how he was so good. He would ragdoll grown men, and the referees just assumed that he was holding because, like, it's no way he treated a £270 defensive end like that. But he did. They go back and watch the replay and the announcers be like that's not a whole. He just he just dominated him.
Eddie 00:06:49 You know what's crazy is I was watching a podcast last night and I always, I always try to catch at the end of the night is, La Nacion.
Prescott 00:06:59 And he's good, I like him.
Eddie 00:07:01 He had he has a couple guys on last night. And you know what, I, I didn't realize this, but back in the day when when Zack Martin, when he resigned, he cut the line.
Eddie 00:07:15 He cut the line in front of a bunch of people that were supposed to get paid for him. Right? So if we if we would have traded him at that point where he was requiring this huge bump on this or this, or resigning, if we would have traded him at that point where he was a 99in Madden, we wouldn't be in this situation right now. We would we would have we we would already had capital and we would have traded him for, you know, a first or I mean, and we wouldn't have we wouldn't have been in, you know, money trouble. It was just it was really strange. I didn't even think about that. You know, back in the day, we were just like, oh, we signed Zach Martin. I didn't think about all the other guys that had to wait their turn because he they signed him first. It was strange. But so they were talking about that and everything, and then they started talking about the, the press conference or not.
Eddie 00:08:08 The press conference. There was a there was an interview with Stephen, on one of their podcasts, and he basically let it out that the Cowboys are going to spend what he said. A lot of people don't believe this, and I tend to believe it because I'm a I'm not a cynic with this. But he said that the Cowboys are going to spend to the cap every they're going to spend to the cap this year. They're going to they're going to spend to the cap this year. and he's like, we live in Texas. We live in a, tax free state for, for individuals. so the recruitment shouldn't be very hard for these athletes with such big salaries. It's like we have the money to spend on people. We're going to spend it this year. So a lot of people were saying, oh, bullshit. Then prove it. I'm not going to believe it till you do it. But everything about this offseason, compared to what we've done in the past is a lot different. It's a lot different.
Prescott 00:09:10 A lot different. Yeah, I said the same thing. But one thing, one myth about that, they say, you know, with Florida and Texas being, you know, no income tax. That's that's true. But it's not as as true as people think you do save some money. Not as much as you think because they they have a taxes rule for players. Like if you play in a professional league, NBA, major League Baseball, you have to.
Eddie 00:09:33 Pay. I'm not saying you don't pay taxes on your salary. You don't pay tax. Sales tax. Right?
Prescott 00:09:38 Yeah. No, no, no, I'm saying, it's a thing where if you're a professional athlete, you still have to pay a tax on each city you play in. Yeah, yeah, you still have to pay that. Okay. So. So. So I found that out too. Like, I always thought that too. I was like, man, I would love to play in Texas or Florida because, you know, New York's paying this high state tax or California's paying its high state tax.
Prescott 00:10:00 But even if you stay in Texas so like say Dak Dak you when they play in New York they have to pay a prorated amount of taxes based off the the away games they played that year. I didn't know that until recently. So so.
Eddie 00:10:17 So.
Prescott 00:10:18 You said but not so you don't pay the full percentage but you pay a little.
Eddie 00:10:22 Think about all the teams that are in those cities, right. Like Dallas or Texas. And you get home playoff games.
Prescott 00:10:33 Yeah.
Eddie 00:10:34 You know what I mean? Like you're like, yeah on the salary. Yeah. But but so but if you got to go play you're like yeah I know man.
Prescott 00:10:42 Especially you got to play in New York or California with super high estate tax. Like man why don't we have any teams in North Dakota where state taxes real low? Man.
Eddie 00:10:50 Yeah, I thought that was pretty interesting that he said that. And then, he also did let slip that when they asked him, you know, what is the possibility of us moving around in this draft, like using the capital?
Prescott 00:11:03 We're not moving up, but we could possibly go down.
Eddie 00:11:05 So he said he said moving up is something that we've done in the past. It doesn't look like we need to move up unless we, you know, for. But a move back would definitely be something that would be on the books. And I was like, whoa, I love that. I love the fact that we're not only are they open for it because every team should be open for it, but what he just did was he just said, hey, everybody in the NFL, we're willing to trade our 12th pick.
Prescott 00:11:35 We're open.
Eddie 00:11:35 We're open for we're open for business. And so that so everybody's going to be thinking, okay, no, no, no, we just need to get to 12 because Cowboys will trade back. Cowboys will trade. Get them on the floor. And the phone's ringing. The phone's ringing. That's all he wanted.
Prescott 00:11:48 Now, what's weird is people think that Jerry Jones is some wheeling, dealing mercenary that just loves to trade picks. But if you think about it, he hadn't traded up in a long time.
Prescott 00:12:02 In a long time, he hadn't like, well, in the first round anyway. The last time he did it was Morris Claiborne, was it? That was the last time he traded up in the first.
Eddie 00:12:12 Round one more time. They talked about last night. I think there's one more time that they traded up a little bit, but they traded they traded back last year. They traded back the two years.
Prescott 00:12:21 They traded back a lot. They don't trade up.
Eddie 00:12:24 Yeah yeah. But no no I mean I'm talking about we'll trade back in like second and third. Those picks were but we never trade back in the first except for those last two years. So the one where we got Micah and that that one.
Prescott 00:12:38 Now two times we've traded away the pick we did it for. No, it's three times. we did it for rocket Ishmael. We did it for Roy Williams, and we did it for Amari Cooper. We traded away to pick to get a player. And then one time we moved to get Morris Claiborne.
Eddie 00:12:55 Didn't we trade him for Oh. Wait. Who was it? The second guy that you said, not Amari.
Prescott 00:13:00 It was, it was Rocket Ismail. It was Roy Williams from Detroit, and then it was Amari Cooper.
Eddie 00:13:05 I thought you. Yeah Roy Williams not the safety. The receiver. Yeah.
Prescott 00:13:09 The wide receiver.
Eddie 00:13:10 From Detroit for him.
Prescott 00:13:12 Yeah. that was that was a and and it wasn't a bad trade. He was really good. He just never panned out here. He sucked. Yeah. But but then and then we traded, up to get Maurice Claiborne. But other than that, normally we're trading back to get additional picks. That's what we've been normally doing.
Eddie 00:13:32 So the the the the whole point of me bringing that up is, you know, if we do trade back, you know, it's not magic. We're not we're not like we don't have a notebook that says Miami traded us in 1993, so we'll trade them now. No, what it is is Jerry, Jimmie Johnson and created the draft trade, valuation chart.
Eddie 00:13:58 Yeah. And it what it really is, it puts a value on a pick. And so if you're going to trade me, I need to replace the value that you're, that I'm trading you. Right. So yeah. Here let me show you what I'm talking about. This is kind of.
Prescott 00:14:13 Look at it like like money, like, you need change. So what? I need to get into this, you know, this juke box, but they don't take dollars, so I need four quarters. That's fine. You give me a paper dollar and I give you four quarters. So that's what this chart is saying. That. And it could be players too. It doesn't have a value for players. But you know you gotta try and get some kind of value. And it's crazy how this stands up. This is like from in the early 90s 9192. And it still is used today. It's 2025.
Eddie 00:14:43 So check this out. So if you guys want to check this out you can go to Draft Tech.
Eddie 00:14:47 But what what this does is it gives us how much each pic is worth for every, every team right now our draft capital total and all of all what nine picks that we have is 1940 5.8. That's total the first. Our 12th pick is worth 1200 points. Even so, if we were to trade back, we need to be reimbursed at least 1200. But most of the time teams don't do it straight up like somebody's going to get a something out of it, right?
Prescott 00:15:23 Yeah, yeah, someone's going to win more than what this trade value charts is.
Eddie 00:15:27 Exactly. So, what what this really said, the guys that were talking about last night, they're they are real stat nerds. I'm not. I'm like a a fake stats nerd. So these guys were going through this and he was like, our tickets were 1200 points, so we need to be compensated 1200. So we start looking back at the teams that we're trading back that we can. You not only have to look at the number like analytically what we need to get back, but we also need to look at what are those guys going to to need.
Eddie 00:16:01 Like what is somebody like at Arizona? Are they going to be drafting a receiver? No, we don't think so. is that Lana going to draft a receiver? Like, that's how we have to think. Like we can't just draft all the way back and then. Yeah, now you have some capital, but everybody's gone. You don't can't you can't draft.
Prescott 00:16:21 Yeah, exactly.
Eddie 00:16:22 Yeah.
Prescott 00:16:23 So how do you think they're going to pick. Because like because like like a perfect example is that Arizona pick. So so look at number 16. They're they're a thousand. So you're like well what can we get if they want to move to 12 from 16. Would it take that 16 pick and then had to take that 78th pick. pic. That's 1200 equals 1200. So in theory that's a even trade. But then like you said, are they moving up to 12 to take a receiver. When we want a receiver. But then so if that's the case then now if, if tech is available and they want Ted, we're not going to trade them because that's who we want.
Prescott 00:16:55 But if they're like, oh no, we need a quarterback or we need an offensive lineman, then yes, you do make that trade because you're not worried about them taking exactly those. All that stuff goes.
Eddie 00:17:03 Yeah. And that's the that's the, the the beauty of being able to pick you know best player available right. Because what that does now is it gives us a chance to, to be creative with our picks and the and the structure of how we're drafting. So, another thing that they brought up last night was the free agency and another big new, another big thing that Amari not Amari Jalen Ramsey. Oh yeah. Stated that you know he wants to be traded from the Dolphins. And Dolphins are kind of unloading everybody kind of.
Prescott 00:17:37 Yeah they are. Man. They're like starting over.
Eddie 00:17:40 But the the experts are saying, you know Ramsey, he's a little older in the tooth. you know what? What can they get for him realistically? You know, realistically, if they can get a fourth or fifth form, that's probably pretty good, because he's pretty expensive.
Prescott 00:17:53 Too, because he has, like a almost a $20 million contract. So they might have to go like a fifth through seventh.
Eddie 00:17:59 Doesn't he have like eight kids too, or something like that? Who is that?
Prescott 00:18:01 Yeah. He has. I don't know, he probably does Miami, but the Miami players have a lot of kids, so that's probably.
Eddie 00:18:06 Yeah. No I don't know what to do. So but so the, you know, if we were able to do a, you know, a swap like that that allows us to be able to, you know, draft who we want, but I don't think it's going to be get done before the draft. It could. Me neither. I don't think. Well, another, you know, another thing is the Asante Samuel Junior. they. Yeah, there are corners out there. There are receivers out there that we could pick up before the draft to make our draft easier to pick a PPA. But the crazy fact that I learned about last night is that a lot of these things, that they can't pick these kids up before the draft because it affects your compensation.
Prescott 00:18:47 The company. Yeah.
Eddie 00:18:48 Your compensatory pick from next year.
Prescott 00:18:50 Yeah.
Eddie 00:18:51 Whatever the word is that we're both.
Prescott 00:18:52 You have to wait. You have to wait after a certain.
Eddie 00:18:54 Weight after the draft.
Prescott 00:18:56 For it not to.
Eddie 00:18:56 Hurt, pick up. So that might be the case. We might be, you know, on the horn with somebody and be like, hey, you know what? Just keep buying fucking Dallas socks and we'll get because we're you're coming to us, but we can't pick you up until April 30th or whatever.
Prescott 00:19:10 Yeah. And that's how you can tell when people who pay attention and who just mimic their favorite talking head. Because when you say stuff like this, they'll say, well, we haven't got they're not doing anything they haven't picked up for Santa Samuel when it's like they could, but that would screw them in the long run. It's like.
Eddie 00:19:25 That's not that's not it, that's not it. Like, come on, give me a break. Watch some football.
Prescott 00:19:32 I see the.
Eddie 00:19:33 Twitter.
Prescott 00:19:34 For like three three days. It was a whole big thing about trading Dak the Pittsburgh for TJ. What. I'm like I'm good I'm good.
Eddie 00:19:41 It's funny.
Prescott 00:19:43 Like we already we have TJ Watt at home. Like why are we going to get TJ.
Eddie 00:19:46 What. There's even cats with the a Milton picture on there. On there.
Prescott 00:19:51 Oh my god.
Eddie 00:19:53 I see that. And like they're arguing people and people are like two years ago. I see your profile pic, bro. I'm not even going to talk. Yeah.
Prescott 00:20:00 Two years ago, they were they were 100% sure that Trey Lance was going to take over for that. And like, this is going to be Trey Lance team in two years now who he signed with the Chargers. He he signed with somebody I forgot who signed with first.
Eddie 00:20:15 He signed with, Canadian football.
Prescott 00:20:17 Yeah. Yeah. Well he didn't sound.
Prescott 00:20:19 They they they put a claim like he's mine. If he signs with us. They were hoping he didn't sign anybody.
Eddie 00:20:26 So the last thing that I wanted to talk about with I love is somebody finally came out, a cowboy finally came out and said and said, Steph, you to the Eagles fan.
Prescott 00:20:42 I which one?
Eddie 00:20:43 I'm not going to step on Eagles fans and say don't celebrate that you won the Super Bowl because it feels really good, doesn't it?
Prescott 00:20:50 It does.
Eddie 00:20:50 I know it feels good because I've seen I've seen four of them. But the the fact that, that Emmitt, one of the best cowboys ever to do it, came out and this is what he said, this is verbatim this is what Emma said. He said when, when he keeps hearing all these Dallas Super Bowl drought and the Philadelphia Eagles are the best is what he said. I'm sick of it. We've allowed others to nitpick on the star and make fun of the star. Make fun of the the star. And that's what happens now all of a sudden over the last 20 years, they win two Super Bowls and they think they're the best thing on the planet.
Eddie 00:21:33 And everywhere I go, I hear go birds. I'm sick of hearing go birds. I'm always asking, where are you going? You still got a long way to go to get to us. Which is, I mean, a gray beard. Emmett yelling at Eagles fans is everything that I want to see on pay per view. Tell. Tell me where that is. And I'm there. Is it 100%? I'm there with that, with what he's saying. I'm right behind him going. Yeah.
Prescott 00:21:59 Because I always say so. They always like to say, man, y'all haven't won a Super Bowl in 30 years. 35 years. And so I'm like, so you mean to tell me if I had, you know, $50 million made in the last 30 years and you had $20 million made in the last 20 years, for some reason, you're 20 million is worth more because you got it recently. I'm like, that doesn't make any sense. Like, I would rather the $50 million all over all this time than than the more recent 20 million, I'm like, and that's what they're thinking because it's more recent that it's better.
Prescott 00:22:35 And I'm like, hey, what have you got to tell yourself to sleep at night?
Eddie 00:22:39 It's the instant gratification society that we're in right now. It's the my internet is not up in four seconds. Yeah. You know, we we grew up. I don't know what it was. I think we grew up patient.
Prescott 00:22:54 We had to. We didn't have a choice. Right?
Eddie 00:22:57 We didn't know when the ice cream truck was coming. We just knew it was coming.
Prescott 00:23:00 We had to hear it.
Eddie 00:23:01 Yeah. We didn't. We? When we got online, we had to wait for a long time for it to connect, even if we had if you had internet. If you had internet. Right, right. Oh. Or I mean, it's just just a whole bunch of shit. But the thing about why I brought that up and what they were talking about last night was, The Eagles and the way that they're, the Super Bowls are with ours. Super Bowls don't have a expiration date. That was one thing that he said he's like.
Eddie 00:23:36 Championships don't expire, so you can try and talk belittle all of the. All of this and say you know, this and that about how our championships don't mean anything because they were back in the 90s, but they don't expire. And we have way more than you guys have. So just sit down. And what what's funny is I loved I laughed out loud and I said I was going to say this on the podcast tonight, but I need to give him him credit for making it up. But Law Nation said these Eagle fans, they're they grew up with these strong ass stomach muscles on their neck. And I was like, what does that mean? And he's like, oh, because their whole lives they've been looking up at the Cowboys and the Redskins and holding their heads up high. So gotten in there. There. Their neck muscles are strong as hell.
Prescott 00:24:25 Big brother. We're big brother Tony. Anytime somebody brings it up like, man, y'all hadn't won the championship in 30 years. I'm like, well, I only learned how to count the five five championships.
Prescott 00:24:35 After that, I stopped learning how to count. So you can give me all that 30 you want.
Eddie 00:24:40 Well, well, we'll we'll see then they got, they got they got three more to go and then we'll be. Yeah, we'll be tied then, then we.
Prescott 00:24:48 Then we can talk, then we can talk. Yeah.
Eddie 00:24:51 So there.
Eddie 00:24:51 We go.
Prescott 00:24:52 Because they like to bring that up until it matters. And then and then and then when it matters they try to, you know, they move the goalpost and say something else. So it's alright. I can live with that.
Eddie 00:25:02 Hey, Prescott, we got like six days to go or like five. Is it 6 or 7 days till the draft? I'm so ready. I can't wait.
Prescott 00:25:10 To. What's the day go Wednesday.
Eddie 00:25:12 I'm ready to go.
Prescott 00:25:13 We got seven days. We got seven days. And then we're good to go get some draft drafting in here. So, next week.
Eddie 00:25:21 I got.
Eddie 00:25:21 The.
Eddie 00:25:22 I got that day.
Prescott 00:25:24 Really? We're going to have a, we're going to have, one more show before the draft. We're going to try and do before the draft, release it before the draft, so we can have that, and then we're going to do one right after the draft so we can give our reactions. So give our reactions. See what happened. Yeah. Yeah that's how we do it.
Eddie 00:25:42 So we so we can talk about our about how Ted and, Omarion are going to just run shop in the NFC East next year.
Prescott 00:25:50 Man, if we got Ted and I wouldn't even know what to do with myself, I would. Oh, my God, I'll be I'll be so unbearable.
Eddie 00:25:58 Hey, one year, one year, one year we drafted Zeke and Dak.
Prescott 00:26:02 Yeah man.
Eddie 00:26:03 Just remember.
Eddie 00:26:04 That.
Prescott 00:26:05 And what's crazy is we could have had like.
Eddie 00:26:08 One year we drafted KD and Trayvon. Or was that Michael.
Prescott 00:26:13 Oh no no no. You see the Trayvon Michael was by itself.
Eddie 00:26:16 We drafted those two together in one draft.
Eddie 00:26:18 This shit can change in the in the.
Prescott 00:26:21 Trayvon part was understandable. But the fact that we got CeeDee lamb was it blew my mind. I couldn't believe it. Oh, yeah. Anyway, good, good. Good times. So? So we got it coming on. So y'all stay tuned. Y'all keep your heads up and and will we trust get the tattooed on your chest or on or on the eyelids in will we trust he's gonna knock it out.
Eddie 00:26:43 The park.
Prescott 00:26:44 The first two two rounds. And then he's going to have one out of the last five picks. One of them's going to hit to where we're like, man, he's better than we thought. He he's going to be like a bland. We're going to get fifth round.
Eddie 00:26:55 We're gonna get a hoop. Yeah. We're gonna go whoo! And then we're gonna just. And then in like seven months, we're going to be like, you know, when I when we drafted and I was like, who is this kid? And now all of a sudden he turned into a a monster.
Eddie 00:27:10 That's going to be that's, that's going to be that also.
Prescott 00:27:14 It's not.
Eddie 00:27:14 Supposed.
Prescott 00:27:14 To be. Yeah. Also was not supposed to be Elsa when he got drafted. Blaine. Nobody knew who Blaine was when he got drafted. And now he was he was in the running for, like, Defensive Player of the year for a little while.
Eddie 00:27:26 Tyler Smith. Think about Tyler Smith and how angry a lot of people were.
Prescott 00:27:30 I was wondering.
Eddie 00:27:31 I'm not a fucking monster. He's a.
Prescott 00:27:34 All pro.
Eddie 00:27:35 Yeah.
Prescott 00:27:36 He was. Man. Man. So? So. And will we trust. He might not. I mean, nobody bats a thousand so I can give him a pass on, like the school pick. Even though he has time to bounce back. He did bounce back at the end of the year last year. And like for the moxie pick. But nobody's going to bat a thousand. So I can let those go because nobody does.
Eddie 00:27:55 You know what I think is going to be a little bit different though this year is, you know, I wasn't a big hater of Mike McCarthy, but I think in the war room, it's going to be a little bit different this year.
Eddie 00:28:05 I think our defensive I think. And I think, shady I think they're going to be there even if they're not voicing their opinion. I think that they're what they need and what they want for us to be successful is already put down on the table and said, hey, this is what I need and this is what I want. Get me this or get me that. And I think that's what they're.
Prescott 00:28:27 Going to do. I'm not knocking them, but I think McCarthy and, the guy who went to coach the the commanders, I forgot his name already. Defensive guy. start with the Dan Quinn. Like. Yeah. Dan Quinn.
Eddie 00:28:40 Danny. Danny.
Prescott 00:28:41 Yeah, him. So they were good coaches, but they were more like player coaches. I think the coaches we have now are more like, we need to win coaches and we're going to do it this way type, you know, more more disciplinarian.
Eddie 00:28:54 look at McCarthy last year in the draft in the war room. He's like, I don't even have a contract.
Eddie 00:29:01 Yeah, I'm not even going to be on this team in 11 months. I don't even know.
Prescott 00:29:05 Why they did that.
Eddie 00:29:06 It makes no sense to me in here.
Prescott 00:29:08 Lame duck coach like, hey, we're we we need you invested in this team that your decisions are going to affect us three years from now. So hey, do your best. Give it a good college try. I'm like, man, I'm not going to do that. Yeah, like, you want.
Eddie 00:29:21 Me like that's like. That's like when you're when the director comes up to you and they're like, you know. Prescott. Prescott, I appreciate you giving us two weeks. We're going to need for you to train this guy. Yeah, train my replacement.
Prescott 00:29:32 I'm gonna. I'm gonna train.
Eddie 00:29:33 Him the best.
Prescott 00:29:34 I can.
Eddie 00:29:35 Yeah. We're going to be sending I'm going to be telling them all the stuff that I hate about this.
Prescott 00:29:40 My favorite phrase is going to be, hey, this is the way they want you to do it.
Prescott 00:29:44 This is the way I do it.
Eddie 00:29:47 Exactly, exactly.
Prescott 00:29:48 Anyway, so anyway, so we'll have a, we'll have a pre draft pod and then a post draft pod for you guys coming next week. So stay tuned.
Eddie 00:29:57 I know we're getting some we're getting some, some traction and, and Reddit. So I'm going to talk to you guys right now and Reddit. what I want to know is on the draft, on the mock draft that we did a mock draft that you guys are doing. What would you guys do differently with those picks? Who would you guys pick first, second and third? I'll. I want to do a screenshot for me or tell me what you guys did. Yeah, because I want to feel it. I'm not. I'm not going to. I'm not going to. Yuck your yum. I want to know what other people are thinking and let's collaborate. Let's let's get some ideas going here.
Prescott 00:30:31 Let's do it. And it's okay to drag Eddie because he picked Shiloh Sanders because I did it.
Prescott 00:30:35 That's okay. So it's okay. Y'all can.
Eddie 00:30:37 Drag. I want to tell you, I I'll tell you right now, if Shiloh Sanders gets drafted, his jersey is going to be in the in there for people to pick to pick up and buy. So Jerry the revenue on on whether we pick up Shiloh Sanders or if we pick up some safety from Utah. What what what is Jerry going to do? Jerry is going to be like, come on, let's get shine. Come on. Give it.
Prescott 00:31:04 Let's let's do it. Yeah. We can burn that seventh round pick on him. So yeah. Yeah.
Eddie 00:31:08 That's an early.
Prescott 00:31:09 Nothing early. Yeah.
Eddie 00:31:10 But I think he'll play he's got a, he's got a name to live up to. And I think he's going to be a, I think he's going to be a big, contributor and special teams wherever he goes.
Prescott 00:31:22 Yeah.
Eddie 00:31:23 So mark my words.
Prescott 00:31:25 So they'll do. Eddie, Eddie, say goodbye to the people so we can go on some NBA playoffs.
Eddie 00:31:32 Oh, I know what we got tonight. We got the 910 games.
Prescott 00:31:35 Yeah, it's the Bulls and the heat. So last night was a good game.
Eddie 00:31:40 Night game. Oh the Heat's going to win that game. And then we also got the Mavs game too right.
Prescott 00:31:46 Yeah the Mavs tonight are definitely losing that game.
Eddie 00:31:49 They're going to be shining a light in sack tonight. I'll tell you right now.
Prescott 00:31:53 Like the beam.
Eddie 00:31:54 Baby. Light the beam. All right guys we love. You know tell your kids that you love them. Don't go to bed angry and, be be nice to Prescott in the in the in the chat. Be nice. He gets the.
Prescott 00:32:07 Feelings. Be nice. I do. I'm a sensitive guy. So anyway, y'all be cool. We'll see ya next time.
Prescott 00:32:15 Oh.
