Prescott 00:01:29  Because your boy was in Greece. Man, it was great. That was my first time in Europe. I've been out of the country, but just to the Bahamas, the Caribbean. I've been to Mexico. So I went to Europe. 12 hour flight, 11 or 12 hour flight. Oh man. I recommend business class folks.

Eddie 00:01:54  You in first class white wife in in in commercial?

Prescott 00:01:58  No, it was actually the opposite way. She got business class and I was in what's called premium economy. So it was it was one level below. But she had to lie flat seats.

Prescott 00:02:07  Man, I, I let her have it.

Eddie 00:02:11  Your voice is breaking up really bad. I don't know what's going on. Can you hear that?

Prescott 00:02:14  Really? Yeah. No. Okay. I don't hear that at all. Okay. Let me make sure I'm getting going on with my mic.

Prescott 00:02:28  Really? That's weird. I don't know why it's going, like I can't hear myself. I can't, but we'll see. We'll we'll see when I, when I, when I upload it, hopefully it'll upload regular, but, Yeah man. So yeah. Because our, our travel agent messed up when they did our tickets. Oh, no, he did mine first. Yeah, he did mine first. And then when he went to do hers, the flight disappeared for some reason. So when he came back, he was like, you know what? I'm going to upgrade this. The only thing left is business class. So I'm I'm gonna do the business class for the same price.

Prescott 00:03:04  And that's how she got business class. And then I got premium economy. So I have it. I could have just switched our name. I could have just called American Airlines and switched our names, but I was like, nah, I'm gonna let her have it. She's the love of my life. Love it. What's that sound? That's cool.

Eddie 00:03:19  That's good. But 12 hours, man. That's still a long time. I don't care where. You don't care if you're watching. You're in the most comfortable place in the world. 12 hours is a long time in the same spot. Did you get up and move around a lot, or did you sleep or what?

Prescott 00:03:31  Going? Yeah. Yeah, I had to get up and walk around, but like go in there. It's like you're going forward in time. So it felt like. So we left at 8 a.m. on a Friday. I mean I'm sorry on a Thursday. We didn't get there till 11 a.m. on a Friday because of the time change.

Prescott 00:03:45  But coming back, we did the whole thing in one day all on a Sunday because, like, you're traveling back in time, you know, with the whole different time zones. It's so weird, man. So it's like it felt. It felt like 24 hours going there and then only like 12 hours coming back. Even though it's the exact same amount of time.

Eddie 00:04:02  Are you feeling that out? Are you feeling normal, though, like time wise?

Prescott 00:04:06  Yeah, I'm starting to feel that way. Yesterday was terrible. I was all jetlagged because that's why I went like I missed all. Like yesterday was my first time watching the finals because where I'm at, it's eight hours ahead. So when the game was on, it was 3:00 in the morning out there. So I was asleep, so I couldn't, watch any of the finals. Last night was the first game I got to see, and so it was like, I missed all the good stuff, man.

Eddie 00:04:28  Nice, nice, I remember that.

Eddie 00:04:30  Plus, I'll be getting messages from you as some random ass times to like one. Yeah. Like I'm like, oh, I'm on the afternoon.

Prescott 00:04:38  And I'm like.

Eddie 00:04:39  I'll reply.

Prescott 00:04:40  And so that's how I was. I was like, I wasn't doing any discord talking, really. I, I catch the conversations late.

Eddie 00:04:47  You were on vacation, man. Better not meet your wife. has come out. Come out and she'll be like, I'm back. I'm just working on this cowboy stuff.

Prescott 00:04:55  So I brought back some, Some, some. It's called Rocky, some raki. It's some Greek liquor. Brought back some Greek wine. It's a place called Santorini that, they grow like it's a volcanic island. Literally came from a volcano thousands of years ago. And the only thing that can grow on that island is grapes. That's it. So they make their own special wine that's only made there. It can't be made anywhere else because their grapes are special.

Eddie 00:05:22  Yeah. My buddy had a Greek restaurant, that when I grew up in his, there was a Greek drink that they always made, and it was flaming.

Eddie 00:05:31  It was made out of. I was like, yuzu or something.

Prescott 00:05:34  Yeah, yeah, yeah, that that's the flavor. It is? Yeah, it's black licorice. I didn't like the sound of that. So I got the Rocky instead. Raki. So those.

Eddie 00:05:43  Are two. I wasn't a big fan. I'm not a big fan of.

Prescott 00:05:45  And that. Yeah. And that's what I heard. Like, the woman who was selling to me was like, yeah, most people have a it's like an acquired taste. It's it's like a. So it's.

Prescott 00:05:52  Like.

Eddie 00:05:52  It's it's weird. It's like thick. It's like a thick. It is, it's weird.

Prescott 00:05:57  And so the one I got is a clear liquor and she said it's one you drink when you're around people and you diluted with water. It's like you're diluted with water for your taste and you only drink it with other people. So you pour a little bit in, then that little bit while you drink. It's like it helps with digestion.

Prescott 00:06:10  So I got some of that.

Eddie 00:06:11  Oh that's.

Prescott 00:06:11  Cool.

Eddie 00:06:12  Some, some bitters.

Prescott 00:06:13  Some some wine. Yeah. And then I got some like Greek peanuts. They're pretty good. The, the the the Greek yogurt. Man, the Greek yogurt is legit. Sounds better than any Greek yogurt you'll find in America. Like it's made different. The gelato. Oh, my God, it was so good.

Eddie 00:06:32  The chicken skin. I have.

Prescott 00:06:33  A whole.

Prescott 00:06:38  If y'all can go to Greece, bro, go to Greece. I stayed for two years to go on this trip, so I save up.

Prescott 00:06:46  Anyway. Anyway. Forget that. They don't care about my trip and they came to hear about cowboy stuff. What's going on in the cowboy world? I checked out for a week. Anything good happened?

Eddie 00:06:58  You know, they're just, like. Just like the last couple of weeks. It's been a slow week. just kind of ramping up to things.

Eddie 00:07:05  we were in, you know, these, or these mandatory mini camps. So there was a little bit of news, but not too much.

Prescott 00:07:13  I didn't see any alerts, man. Then Micah Parsons guest saying.

Eddie 00:07:17  No, he hasn't gotten signed yet, but I mean, on that same on that on that talking point. You know, Micah, there has been a little bit of movement here and there. Myles Garrett actually came out in the, in the public and said, you know, he deserves every penny that he's going to get.

Prescott 00:07:35  Paid a man.

Eddie 00:07:36  Yeah, that's what he's saying is like, hey, I got paid. He deserves to get paid. Let's just hurry up and get this done. I like the fact that the other guys in the NFL are coming out to, to kind of support other players like, hey, this guy needs to get paid because eventually this guy also needs to get paid. And because I got paid, everybody's kind of sticking up for each other, which I really like.

Prescott 00:08:00  Plus, I saw them working out together earlier this offseason too. So I like that. Oh, yeah. So yeah, they're boys. They're boys.

Eddie 00:08:06  Yeah. Come on over. Miles, we'll we'll we'll send you.

Prescott 00:08:09  We'll take care. Well, now he just got signed to a big, huge contract, so we can't have him.

Eddie 00:08:14  Don't worry about Brown. Brown's do that all the time. They sign all the big contracts and then they don't care. It doesn't.

Prescott 00:08:19  Matter. I just hate the old the the old heads that are always on the on the line. Like, if you're a player and someone's on the other team, you have to automatically hate them because you know, they grew up where they they hated everybody that wasn't on their team type thing. But oh.

Eddie 00:08:34  And they.

Eddie 00:08:35  You know, so there also wasn't social media and people getting together all the time about things. I mean, if you think about it, The Pro Bowl was the vacation for the NFL players back then.

Eddie 00:08:47  Right. That's really all it was.

Prescott 00:08:48  Yeah. You never you never heard anybody holding out a Pro Bowl because that was their vacation to go and meet up with other players.

Eddie 00:08:53  Exactly. That was their fun time. But but now I mean, these guys are doing it all the time. They're always constant connection. And it doesn't you don't have to be on the same team to be buddies.

Prescott 00:09:01  And they.

Prescott 00:09:02  Grew.

Prescott 00:09:02  Up like a lot of them play together. Kind of like how basketball has has AAU back in like they they didn't have a lot of peewee like you normally didn't start playing for like in the 80s and 90s. You didn't start playing football till late middle school. Then you go into high school. Now you can start peewee at five years old, and a lot of them play on the same team. They have the seven on seven camps they fly out to and play and all that.

Eddie 00:09:24  So yeah.

Prescott 00:09:26  They're all friends.

Prescott 00:09:26  Now.

Eddie 00:09:27  I was playing when I was seven years old and I remember you had to be nine.

Eddie 00:09:32  I don't know what my dad did to get me in, but he, like, finagled his way in for I was playing because he looked like a grown man.

Prescott 00:09:40  Probably.

Prescott 00:09:40  He probably had probably had a teeny.

Eddie 00:09:42  Little guy on that.

Prescott 00:09:43  Team. I remember crying every time with a beard.

Eddie 00:09:46  I remember crying every practice. My dad would be like, hey, you can't be. You can't be crying every day.

Prescott 00:09:52  But man, you were like, spike out there.

Eddie 00:09:55  Spike, I love what.

Prescott 00:09:57  He's on the little giant pull ups.

Eddie 00:10:02  you know, there was one thing that that did happen in the NFL that that of that we should talk about. And there was a signing that a lot of people said, you know, they're shaking their fist at Jerry. Like, why in the hell did you not pick up the phone? And I have, you know, I think they did, but I don't think they really pushed it. But, chubs did end up signing with the Texans. He did have a a tryout, and he did sign with the Texans right after.

Eddie 00:10:30  And it was a pretty friggin, team friendly deal to that. He signed.

Prescott 00:10:36  It was.

Eddie 00:10:37  It's just. And if you saw that, that, that workout video of him, did you see it, like, last week or the week before? Right before.

Prescott 00:10:46  You left? He was like, running uphill. Yeah. He was. No, he was.

Eddie 00:10:49  He was doing the the squats and he put like £800.

Prescott 00:10:53  To him. Yeah you're right. So you know what? I'm gonna go out on a limb. This is my hot take. This is my hot take coming from Prescott. I didn't discuss this with Eddie, but I guarantee, I guaran damn t that Javonte Williams will have a much better season than Nick Chubb. Okay, we're gonna mark it down. Putting it out there. Prescott 00:11:47  To use them. Yeah, I want them to use them like Montgomery Gibbs.

Eddie 00:11:52  You know, it's just.

Eddie 00:11:53  Just I just found out today somebody in our, in our discord in the chat asked me what's, you know how big is, is blue. You know, I don't have any idea about how you know, how what is his size. And he's like, I know I can Google, but I'm sure you thought I knew it right off the bat. And I was like, yeah, well, he's he's not the traditional NFL size running back. And and to be honest with you, that's exactly how I felt with Jamar Gibbs when he came out. And I've come to find out that they're exactly the same size. They're both five, nine, £196.

Eddie 00:12:32  So that's true. We're not.

Prescott 00:12:33  Literally exactly the same.

Eddie 00:12:35  Thing. Yeah, but Jamar Gibbs came out. I remember thinking, oh, you know, this is going to be another three down back or, you know, another third down back, another pass catching another speed guy. And then all of a sudden Jamal was like, no, no, give me the ball, give me the rock. I can run this ball. And you know all. Now that gets me thinking, you know, blue might might be able to I don't know what type of, you know, talent he has. he didn't get a lot of carries in in college. It wasn't a huge amount of carries. There are there were some, but a lot of it was him catching the ball and him making plays. But did you imagine if he has the if he can ball like Jamar Gibbs. And then we have other players like these other running backs that can actually maybe pick up 2 or 3 yards here and there.

Prescott 00:13:24  Tell me again, he said he's five nine. How much. 100. And what? 9696. 196 okay. Because Javonte is an inch taller. He's 510, but he's 220, so he's more sturdier. So that's why he can be three down.

Eddie 00:13:37  He's bigger and thicker back.

Prescott 00:13:38  So is down back.

Eddie 00:13:40  But we also have to remember that we drafted a rookie that's really big to to be compared to Sanders.

Prescott 00:13:47  Sanders is 511 211. No no no no I'll just look.

Eddie 00:14:30  It's not the muscle. So it is. Look at his dad in the guy. That's a that's a that's a that's a good point. I'm I'm really concerned. I don't know if he makes the squad or not. It's just I don't there's a there's a plethora of running backs and it's just.

Prescott 00:14:46  I think all of them are better than him. Keeping him. Every single one. Javonte Williams, Miles Sanders, Blue and Mafa. All four of them should make this team before Deuce Vaughn. And then I've seen a lot of stuff on the on the, on the on the, the, the OTAs where they had Turpin playing running back. I think.

Eddie 00:15:06  Turpin.

Prescott 00:15:06  Is running back over Deuce Vaughn. I really don't think it makes his team.

Eddie 00:15:10  I mean, that's another talking point that we had was going to be about Turpin and and kind of what his, his role in the in this offense is going to be now, from what I understand and what Broaddus has been talking about is we're seeing a lot of snaps from him, from running back, because last year what we saw was Turpin would come in.

Eddie 00:15:33  Break like an eight yard run. And then it would be.

Prescott 00:15:35  Like.

Eddie 00:15:36  Next week.

Prescott 00:15:37  Next week. Yeah.

Eddie 00:15:38  Maybe you'll get another.

Prescott 00:15:39  Week and then he'll get like selective amnesia. McCarthy be like, he like, literally did a little spray that minute in a little flashy light thing from Men in Black and we're like, Forget Turpin even existed for the rest of the game.

Eddie 00:15:53  True, true. So we'll see. We'll see what they can do. Because it sounds to me like there. But all this, we always have to take things with a grain of salt when it when it comes to this time period. Because you remember the only thing that matters is pads. When the pads come on, that's when you're really going to be. Too many people have one, you know, the the shorts and shoulder pads. Yeah. Heisman. And it doesn't matter when you get the pads on, it's a whole different game.

Prescott 00:16:24  So who? so, so who impressed you at at at Ota.

Eddie 00:16:28  So there's been some notes that obviously there's been media days where they can go in and kind of see it, but a lot of it has been kept out of the media's eyes.

Eddie 00:16:38  But from what I've seen, one of the bigger notes was, Dak and Pickens are really establishing a relationship. You know, they saw that. So so and I think you know Dak already has his relationship with KD right. He knows what KD can do. KD knows what he can do. He knows where he's going to be. he needs to be able to trust where Pickens is going to be. Everybody's different. And like you know if I'm throwing you a ball and I throw somebody else a ball, that other person might not be able to catch something that you always catching easily. It's just the way that we are right. So we all.

Prescott 00:17:15  Dak and Pickens having a Dak and this type of relationship there. Dak's rookie year When him and this were like, they they weren't like I mean, they there never was the sharpest route runner, but he could go get the ball no matter where it was at. And I can see Pickens doing that. I see now I see Mingo.

Prescott 00:18:07  Harris Campbell on his team I really forgot we had Parris Campbell on his team.

Eddie 00:18:11  His his targets. Mingo targets in Ota. from what brought us was telling it was saying he had an accelerated amount of targets, and he hasn't dropped one ball one target yet.

Eddie 00:18:27  Not one.

Eddie 00:18:28  So he. And it's not like Migos running with the fours either. You know he's he's actually out there.

Prescott 00:18:35  So coming up there my mike.

Eddie 00:18:41  When we look at this offense now and you see if you have KD and Pickens on the outside, you know imagine lining up a defense against this guys.

Eddie 00:18:51  You have KD and Pickens on the outside. And you're like holy shit. Who are we going to grab. And then you have you have your 11. You might be able to throw two tight ends in on that right. So now you have 265 245.

Prescott 00:19:05  We gotta talk about that too later. Yeah. Yeah. Talk about that too later.

Eddie 00:19:09  And then on top of that, you have little ass Turpin running around in the back. You know, going back and forth. Either that or he can line up outside and see he can be on motion. But who's going to cover all of them? There's not a defense in the NFL that can cover all that. And then you're going to run the ball.

Prescott 00:19:27  They got one the Eagles.

Eddie 00:19:29  You have a you have a you have five offensive linemen that can start on any team right now. And you're going to stop the run on those guys. This this offense right now this Dallas Cowboys offense before we get the pads on. I'm I'm going up.

Eddie 00:19:47  My hot take is going to be that this is a top five offense in the NFL right now.

Prescott 00:19:55  I agree I agree. The reason I agree is I'm going off old stuff like for instance. So the reason why I was high on Mingo step one was what I saw last year. Last year he actually got open a lot, right? He missed him a lot. Like more than normal. They were just not on the same page. He would be open and Russia just overthrow him. So that's why I was high on Mingo. The second thing was, I really believe when our offense was humming, Schottenheimer was in charge of calling those plays, and then when all of a sudden it's like, we did so, so good with the motion and the movement and the the, the the creative play calling one week and then the next week it seemed like, oh, run, run, Zeke up the middle five times in a row for some reason. Like I'll be two different teams. And I really think it was like Schottenheimer did so good.

Prescott 00:20:47  Mike McCarthy was like, you know what? I'm gonna take over this time. Let's see what I can do. And then he would suck. That's just me. I have no evidence of this. I have no inside information. I just think that's what happened and I really believe was shot. And Clayton Adams, we're going to be really good.

Eddie 00:21:01  Oh yeah. And but and you know, thinking about that you know, it was last year was such a strange time because pieces of the team or pieces of the offense would be gone at certain times, like when Dak was back, CeeDee wasn't there. When CeeDee was there, Dak wasn't there. Wasn't there. Yeah. When they were both there. You know, we didn't have, you know, a, a tight end or two of the linemen were missing or, you know, it was there was never we didn't have peanut butter and jelly. We always had one or the other. And I think that's going to be a big, a big thing this year is the the best ability is what?

Prescott 00:21:41  Availability.

Prescott 00:21:42  Yeah, exactly. This is what this is who I was impressed by after coming back and, you know, checking in in between islands. They really hyped up Elam, the cornerback, and they really hyped up Sanborn, the linebacker and the one person who who got hyped up, who I don't believe is going to translate into the season is brethren span for it. Not because he's not good, but I really think Schoomaker is going to because everything I've learned, I've watched a lot of like foot sticking. I watched some, watched some. Brian brought us what they bring with Clayton Adams bring is they need blocking tight ends, blocking wide receivers. That's why I think Mingo is going to unseat Tolbert because he can catch and he's a much better blocker where I think Schoomaker, he was brought in as a blocking tight end. But at the end of the season last year, he started coming on as a catching tight end. When Ferguson went out with the concussion.

Prescott 00:23:16  That's why he based off college. He. He definitely should have been drafted in the second round. It wasn't like a reach or like a man. You could have got him in the fourth or fifth round. He was very good at me. He was going to let me put it like that.

If you look at the the head to head matchups in the NFC East between the four teams between Washington and Dak. Dec is 11 and two between the Giants and Dak. He's 13 and two. And between Dak and the Philadelphia Eagles he's nine and four. So if we add that up quickly that's 2433. So that's 33 wins versus eight losses. You can kiss my ass thinking that if you're talking about anybody own in any league better than the way Dak owns the NFC.

Prescott 00:39:25  The best part about that stat you just read is the Giants part. He lost.

Prescott 00:39:30  Two. He lost his first two games against the Giants. He's 13 and he lost his first two games.

The closest they ever came to beating us was that last game when he hit, when he rolled out the pocket, and then he hit Beasley in the back of the end zone on fourth down with no time on the clock. And they ruled it incomplete. But then they did the replay. It showed his knee got down.
